Daily digest are being created irrespective of whatever settings you may have. I’ve tried saving the settings with and then without the checkbox checked, but the daily digests are still being created. The cronjob just won’t go away by itself.

As a workaround I’ve manually deleted the cron job and commented out the following line.

add_action(‘lifestream_digest_cron’, ‘lifestream_digest_update’);

Glad it worked for you! Lifestream is a great application and I love to see fellow users. My original issue came from installing the first of the 2 .94betas that was released which caused issues. The .94b currently under Development Version is working much better.

I have it installed and it seems to be playing nicely, I’m so psyched about being able to filter out Twitter’s @replies from my streams, it just looked dirty with them included.

If it means anything, here’s how I went about getting .94b up and running.

Downloaded the beta.
Deactivated .93 from wordpress.
Uploaded .94b to a different folder under plugins (lifestream-2)
Activated .94b from wordpress.
Everything came back up just as it was before, but with all the goodness of .94b.

This may not work as easily for everyone else, but I’m very happy with it at the moment.

I hadn’t even noticed that it was taken down! From what I can tell from the Lifestream forums the latest beta is available at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/lifestream/download/ and is labeled Development Version.

While it is working it still is slightly buggy and might be worth waiting a bit longer for the next build to be released.

So I’ve been waiting for the option to filter out Twitter @replies from my lifestream for quite some time.

I was excited to see your post, although you seem to have had issues.

I can’t seem to find the .94beta anywhere, google couldn’t help either.
May I ask where you found it, and would you be kind enough to point me in that direction?

Honestly as much as I love having the Lifestream plugin, this update has been the first headache I’ve seen with it! After upgrading from the beta .94 there was a huge issue with it auto updating Twitter updates to the blog itself as well as not updating most of my streams.

I upgraded to the .94 beta2 and had to re-add the majority of RSS/blog based streams to get everything back up and running smoothly (aside from *1* stream that refuses to re-add.) I’m still playing around with it to see if I can get it to work without downgrading but we’ll see.

How has it gone for you? It has glitched out quite a bit on my side, and others on Lifestream’s support forums have gone bonkers with update problems and glitches.

I’ve rolled back to .93 for the time being, and the developer even untagged .94 for automatic upgrade.
