First off, I do have to warn you that I only have 100-words in this anthology. Yes, I only had a single drabble selected for inclusion in this one. That being said, look at this amazing cover! How could you not want to pick up a copy of ‘100 Word Horrors Book 3: An Anthology of Horror Drabbles and add it to your collection? Editor Kevin J. Kennedy really outdid himself when putting this one together and I knew I had to have my work included. Thankfully, “Be Careful What You Wish For” was able to make the cut.
It’d try to describe it for you without giving it away but Pyles of Books recently reviewed the collection and of my piece shared that “Here is a riff on zombies, but it parallels themes of addiction and the self-destruction that clings to it like a shadow. It’s actually quite impressive.”
Honestly, without giving it away, that dis a great way to describe what I was going for!
